Happy Holidays from VOSH-NY - Thank You for your Continued Support!

8 years, 16 humanitarian missions, and over 20,000 patients examined around the world!

2010 marked the most gratifying accomplishment VOSH-New York has ever achieved. We were able to successfully bring 4-year old Yhoalibeth to the United States, and have the surgeons at Mt. Sinai Hospital perform a lifesaving operation to remove her brain/ocular tumor on a pro-bono basis. We believe we were able to truly make a difference in her life, and to secure a brighter and more normal future for this little girl from the outskirts of Lima.

Making stories like that of Yhoalibeth become reality is just one reason we created VOSH-New York. And it is with your continued involvement and assistance that we hope to keep reproducing such stories in years to come. Your donations are helping us establish a fund to address her health monitoring and treatment in Lima, and future educational needs.

We will continue to sponsor Optometry students to join each and everyone of our humanitarian missions, and one of our long term goals is to set up a semi-permanent eye clinic in Peru.

Happy Holidays, and we thank you for your continued support.

Salud y amor.

The VOSH-NEW YORK Team
